Project Overview
When TimkenSteel needed accurate surveys for its $200-million vertical steel caster, Accurate Technologies, now part of R.E. Warner, was there from the start.
Utilizing the Faro 3D Laser Tracker, the team established all X,Y, and Z control bench marks for the entire project from civil through mechanical.
We provided all surveys for the installation of the buildings and equipment foundations. We verified foundations and bolt locations prior to the placement of concrete. In addition we verified structural steel placement and crane runway alignment. We worked with contractor's millwrights to achieve the final alignment.
