Overview

Responsible for the complete coordination of pre-design programming and planning, conceptual design, design development, architectural construction documents as well as bidding and construction administration services.

Job Type: Full-Time
Location: North Olmsted, OH
Schedule: Hybrid

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Knowledgeable in the preparation of accurate working drawings and specifications.
  • Establishes and maintains budgets and schedules for architectural project aspects.
  • Knowledgeable in building codes, life safety and fire protection requirements and regulations.
  • Ability to accurately perform a code evaluation of varying types of projects.
  • Prepares proposals and conducts presentations to various clients. Serves as lead architect on projects as required.
  • Prepares bid documents and compile bid evaluations.
  • Interfaces with all engineering disciplines.
  • Acts as liaison between clients, contractors, and agencies.
  • Conducts departmental checking of all drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Provide detailed correspondence including transmittals, construction contracts, shop drawing processing, change orders and product information on designated projects.
  • Manages and educates architectural staff assigned to your projects.
  • Travels to various site locations as necessary to fulfill project scope requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
  • Master of Science in Architecture and Ohio Registered Architect preferred.
  • Valid Drivers’ License required.
  • 12+ years of previous design or related experience.
  • Fully proficient in the use of computer for design including AutoCad, Revit and BIM 360.
  • Must have knowledge of applicable codes and be able to complete code evaluations for all project types.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other online collaboration tools.
