Overview
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for applying intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields. Oversee purchases of technical equipment for Electrical Substations & Transmission Line Engineering. Collaborate with designers and engineering to determine the equipment needed to complete manufacturing or construction projects according to specifications, research, and vendors for that equipment, then order it.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Analyzes technical data and specifications to determine the equipment needed for projects.

Provides answers needed between vendors and engineering.

Ensures delivery dates are met with each individual equipment.

Coordinates work with other disciplines, as necessary.

Maintains neat and organized work area to allow efficient access to project information required by other team members.

Attends weekly equipment team meetings.

Assists with whatever duties are required to deliver a quality project on schedule and within budget.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering with specialization in the electrical discipline required.
- Valid Drivers’ License required.
- 1+ years of previous design experience required.
- Proficient in the use of computer for procurement operations.
- Proficient in the PC/windows environment with experience in e-mail, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
