Overview
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for comparing documented values from drawings and project documents to database values. Work involves finding circuit documents and verifying modeled equipment match actual installed equipment. If discrepancies are found, the engineer is responsible for working with the rest of the TLL team and several First Energy departments to resolve the issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assists with compiling reports and drawings related to electrical utility substations and transmission lines.

Uses existing reports and drawings to perform basic updates to utility databases under supervision.

Follows written and verbal instructions accurately to complete assigned tasks.

Supports the preparation of client Quarterly Reports by gathering model data and ratings information.

Helps document and organize ratings changes across models as directed by senior team members.

Assists in promoting preliminary models into Real-Time systems with guidance.

Contributes to assembling Quarterly Report spreadsheets and presentations by compiling and formatting provided data.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Valid Drivers’ License required.
- Basic understanding of substation design and diagrams is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products and Windows Operating System.
