PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project consists of replacing the present 32 year old, "outside-sales" Titanium Tetrachloride (TiCl4) distillation stripping column DA-206 with a new higher pressure rating column.

Conversion to steam is desirable for this column, which is presently limited by its' low pressure rating.

The new column will be designed for 75 psig and full vacuum to virtually eliminate the risk of a future environmental release.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
A summary of engineering work required for this project involves process development, new equipment specifications, field verification, demolition requirements, mechanical, structural, electrical and instrumentation design, detail drawings and construction bid packages for SCM Chemicals' procurement, followed by bid meetings attendance, bid evaluations, vendor drawing review, technical support during construction, and as-built drawings.
