The design of Ross Incineration Services’ new Air Pollution Control System during the summer of 2002 has led to honors for R.E. Warner & Associates, Inc. and its client.
The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Ohio has selected R.E. Warner & Associates, Inc. to receive an Outstanding Achievement Award in the 2003 Engineering Excellence Awards (EEA) competition for the design of a new Air Pollution Control System for Ross Incineration Services in Grafton, Ohio. |

The awards are presented by the ACEC to engineering companies and their clients for projects that demonstrate a high degree of achievement, value and integrity. The award was presented at the EEA luncheon on Tuesday, February 18th in the Atrium of the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus.
David Sminchak, President and CEO of R.E. Warner, stated “The completion of the project was an accomplishment for all of us at R.E. Warner and Ross Incineration. We are very proud to have that accomplishment recognized by the ACEC, which is a prestigious statewide organization.” James A. Heimbuch, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Ross Environmental Services, Inc. added the award recognizes the importance of the project to the company, the community and the environment. “We are honored that the air pollution control system project has been selected for this elite engineering award. The new air pollution control system enables Ross Incineration to remain in compliance with all applicable air emission regulations. It further reduces the emissions from the system and enables the incineration system to operate more efficiently, which benefits the community and the environment,” Heimbuch said. Because the Air Pollution Control System project was one of the top five projects in the State selected to receive an Outstanding Achievement Award, it is eligible for the national EEA competition sponsored by the American Council of Engineering Companies. |
