R.E. Warner Welcomes New Project Director Al Amy

R.E. Warner & Associates, Inc. announces that Al Amy has joined the firm as Project Director.

“We are pleased to have Al join our team,” R.E. Warner President Ted Beltavski, P.E., said.  “His depth of knowledge about industrial facilities and passion for finding technical solutions that achieve business objectives will help us to continue to be a partner to clients.”

As Project Director, Mr. Amy will be responsible for ensuring clients’ stated goals are met on projects as well as building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients in the automotive and manufacturing, and power sectors.

Mr. Amy has been in the construction industry for over 40 years. He has experience in all phases of industrial construction, maintenance and facility management within the automotive, manufacturing, and power generation (fossil and nuclear) sectors. His specialized expertise includes tooling and equipment installations, removals, facility consolidations and decommissioning. Mr. Amy studied business at Kent State University.

R.E. Warner Welcomes New Senior Process Engineer Barney Olson

R.E. Warner has welcomed Barney Olson to the firm as Senior Process Engineer.

“We are pleased to have Barney join our team,” R.E. Warner President Ted Beltavski, P.E., said. “His technical skills, depth of experience and passion for service will be of great benefit to our clients.”

Barney has more than 35 years of experience and has performed in the capacity of process design engineer, field supervisor, project engineer, and project manager across a spectrum of projects ranging from $1 million to $75 million for clients in the petroleum, rubber and process chemical markets. His experience has included overall conceptual design and process layout for new plants and expansion projects, installation supervision and troubleshooting of new and existing operations, and development of operating procedures and operator training for custom processes.

Barney has specific expertise in the following areas: batch plant design and installation projects; milling and packaging system design; plastics extrusion and compounding of CPVC, thermoplastic and thermosets; fiberglass batching, forming packaging, and material handling; gel coat manufacturing and plant design; metal oxide catalyst manufacturing and plant design; HF acid etching, handling, and waste neutralization; dilute and dense phase pneumatic transport; dust collection and scrubber systems; wastewater treatment systems; and cooling tower systems. Three New Team Members Join R.E. Warner & Associates

Bruce T. Bittner, P.E. joins R.E. Warner as a Senior Civil Engineer. Bittner holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cleveland State University and an Associate of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Cuyahoga Community College. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania and New York and has 20 years experience in project engineering and project/construction management for residential and commercial inspections.  His experience includes site-work design, construction layouts and drawings, grading, utilities, drainage, storm water management, erosion, sedimentation control, and post construction follow up.  He is particularly proficient in conducting field investigations relating to the full range of property damage, documentation and evaluating loss.  His technical skillsets include Earthwork Modeling Software, AutoCAD (Civil 3D) and cost estimating software for public and private work projects, as well as National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).  Bittner resides in Brook Park.
